Some conspiracy sites have been running a strange story about the backwards flag the American troops are wearing in Iraq. The questions asked are:

Why are the flags backwards?

Why are the US soldiers fighting under a false and incorrect flag?

Notice the soldiers below. All display the US flag backwards on their uniforms.

Other suggestions are that perhaps it is not the US of A that is destroying Iraq? Is it the Flag of the Corporation? Are troops dying for another entity? Is it because it's an undeclared war? And so on and so forth.

Its because Bush will soon declare martial law, and use this new backwards flag as the symbol of his absolute power. The illegal war has to be fought under a non-existant power (or at least, it can't be fought under the US jurisdiction). The backawards flags means that the US government is not involved in the proceedings, and won't be held accountable for Bush's military actions in Iraq. It also suggests that the military are no longer controlled by the US Government, but the GOP figurehead of George W. Bush. They are his personal militia, and he will do as he pleases with them. Pretty soon, before the end of his previous term, George Bush will seize real ultimate power from the US Government using his new personal militia. We will be left defenseless from our own Government. We need to learn how to fight this terror that is George Bush.
