You thought Jackie Brown was better than the Negotiator? And you thought Sphere was "***n rubbish" for a 5/10 and Basic gets a 6/10? Okay then... time to leave this thread...

I thought SOAP was written by bloggers passing it around and adding to it. Then someone decided to make a movie of it. Is that not the case?

I wanted to like Sphere, but it kept putting me to sleep. and Basic just felt rushed. It was almost like a made for TV move.

And I thought the Negotiator was a good movie, Both Jackson and Spacy gave very good performances. But I still think Jacky was "more awesome".

All my reviews are compared to other moves of the same type. I don not directly compare Goodfellas to Coming to America. They just don't compeat.

The movie is about a mafia boss that decides to fill a plane with snakes in order to kill off witnesses to a crime.

I think the title is Snakes On A Plane because this movie is intentionally cheesy and lame, and will be a contender for top box office comedy.

Seems like a ready made cult classic. I know of a group of friends of a friend who are renting out an entire theatre and getting trashed to watch this thing.

Whenever the stupist movie ever comes out, its destined for success from the cult following its surely to generate.

that's completely true. Did anyone see the preview they were airing on TV a few weeks back where it was Sam Jackson basically self promoting the movie. "Come see my movie, its got snakes, and planes! Put them together, and you got Snakes on a Plane!". I Alsmost crapped my pants at the idea that this was actually going to be a movie. If I was an actor, I would do any number of crappy movies as long as they paid me
