Anyway, dumb *** finds himself between two vehicles - the z and a van, swerves left, right, left ,right, trying to find a way through in order to keep himself on the path to speed and win. After doing that for a sec, realizes he's done, SLAMS on his brakes and IS done. I watched the whole thing - saw him slam on the brakes and immediately the car came WAAAAYYY out on him. I just hit the brakes and slowed to give him room. Once to the right, once to the left and then slides across three lanes and SMASH in to the center.

I called 911, said that others had stopped, said I witnessed the whole thing and gave them my info. The guy had been tailgating me and being a ****head before he smashed himself up, so I made sure to give all the detail down to the CHP, who said he faulted the guy based on my report. No one else had called it in and the guy said someone swerved at him. Dick.
was this the story that you used paint to describe? lol

i saw the same thing go down between a camry and a minivan a while back. the camry ended up perpindicular to traffic after backing hard into the center divide. the minivan was dinged up but pretty ok. there was a chp on the side of the road writing up a ticket and saw the whole thing.

Thus the coefficient of friction is sky high...like me...due to the car's body grinding against the pavement.

I stopped pretty fast when my body was grinding on the pavement
