So, how much do you tip the person who cuts your hair?

Having been a bartender at one time, I have no problem tipping a job well done. That being said, I also have no problem NOT tipping when it is not deserved.

I also have a good laugh when I go to a sandwich shop, starbucks type shop, etc. and see their tip jar. They want me to tip them for making me a sandwich or pouring some coffee for me? How about, thanking me for helping keep them employed?

My favorite is when my wife gets her hair done. The tab is usually well over $150.00. On top of this, she gives the chick another wad for a tip. LOL!

I only tip $1 at the military haircuts place on base, because it-s a rip-off already for the job that they do.

$7.70 for a basic buzz, basically. And then it's like $9.** for a 'style cut' or some such rubbish. And they don't even do a good job.

i pay like $22 bucks for my hair cuts and i usually put down an extra 5.. but i don't pay for the hair cut, i pay for having my head massaged (hair washed) by this chick named Alexis who usually puts her **** in my face while i'm enjoying the view... after my wash she actually cuts my hair and we shoot the **** about so and so breaking up with so and so, and who slept with who at her work.

i guess its worth it, because i keep going back for more

I only pay that much when I do color...other than that, about $20.

Eric on seccs goes to some place for $40 (And he doesn't have much hair to cut) but the uber-hot chick washes your hair and massages your head and neck...He won't tell me whether or not it comes with happy ending, but I think it does,

I can't justify spending $40 on a haircut, or even $20, with how quickly my hair grows. It always looks like hell in a week anyways.

See, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I get such a simple haircut, there's no reason to pay more than $10.
