I love my car, and everything about...I just cant win though. I really am at the point where I feel that this is my only option. I go as far as not even driving through roseville and getting on the freeway over off of blue oaks and taking different exits in roseville so I dont have to drive through the streets too much. Im just throwing in the towel. I get pulled over for having an exhaust and then it excalates when they ask me to pop my hood. I love the subie community, and Im ****ing torn, but I cant ****ing stand not being able to drive down the ****ing street, to meet a client, to sign a loan, in a ****ing suit and tie, and then getting pulled over like I'm a scumbag. I make good money, I pay my ****ing taxes, I make a contribution to society by taking pictures of drunk ******, and in return I get this. Im over it.

honestly, after i got rid of my wrx and got my g35, i wasn't even worried about getting pulled over. it was a blast to drive, IMHO handled far better than the subie, and was *****in with no mods.

You could do it the opposite way... mod the hell out of the exterior to how you want it to look, then make the car 100% legal so when they harass you, you can just flip em off and laugh at them for wasting their time on you because they profiled you!!!

I don't get why you won't just de-mod?! I don't have any mods (that you can see, other than tint) and have NEVER had a problem with cops. In fact, I've been pulled over a couple times breaking the speed limit and have gotten off. Then again, I'm white.

i feel safe saying this now that my car is stock. the ONLY times i got pulled over in any of my "performance" cars is when i was doing something stupid. ie: speeding, or getting on it. but i normally just drive normal and i never had a problem. Folsom PD looked under my car and made me pop the hood once after i went through first and second right in front of them, but i wasnt cited for anything (apparently my catless exhaust was "fine" and they asked if i had upgraded carberators.) even though i should have. i guess i just got lucky. *knocks on wood*
