my new job is my current job with more $$$. so yeah, no light rail work in my future. this "salary adjustment" puts me where I wanted to be and i'll still get the regular raise when April rolls around.
all in all i'm pretty stoked, in addition to the $$ i'm getting a bit of a positional change, much more input on how we handle projects and stuff.
