To see how many contractors/gardeners are operating unlicensed and possibly unbonded in this town. Is it like this everywhere? I imagine so.
I'm going through the phonebook to find a gardening service and I would say 3 out of 4 contractors have either listed a license # in their ad that doesn't exist, or that does exist but is owned by a different company/name and in a different city altogether.
It sucks :|

You can always have them sign a waiver.
