That's sooo funny but true cuz every time i see a new WRX/STI (08+) i NEVER get any Subie love from them. It's like they're stuck up or don't have any friendly brand/car type loyalty. I usually get deuces or head nods from older ones (GC/GD) though, it's like GR's believe they're better or too good for us. ****, i bet i'd smoke 'em if we raced, i ain't scared of no ****ing wagon dude! Plus, how many new ones you see at our meets-**** hardly any (i know of only one). Kinda sucks they ain't more friendly like us huh.

And why are you try to brag or anything about trying to street race a new subaru?
**** that ain't nothing dude when i've seen some new ones pop up lately, & with no friendly acknowledgement either. I ain't trying to brag at all, just saying why would they be so snobby to us, cuz we're older models, **** we'd probably win a street race, so take your crappy attitude elsewhere. I ain't lying too, it's happen to me plenty of times, & it ain't no coincidence cuz other GD owners here are experiencing the same thing. I was just agreeing with 1javablkinsac. Oh, and only 1 GR sedan comes to our meets, cool dude too, but he's already had an 06 STi, see what i mean. It seems like the people buying new WRX/STI cars nowadays are totally different from us og's, got no ****ing Subie love yo!

or not. If you're really concerned about that, take a look at Lambo/Ferrari drivers. Now there are some snobs (most of them). Go street race them !

I have gotten plenty of subie love as well from new owners on the streets, too. Maybe it's just Elk Grove that people are *******s? lol...
Some people just aren't in the mood to wave to every other car. I drive a 2011WRX and I wave when I can. I think your attitude is a bit polar and bordering on contradictory when you talk about the camaraderie you feel is "mandatory" among Subie drivers. Just chill. It's not about acknowledgement

WTF-in the mood, **** you hardly see WRX/STI cars since they're quite limited when compared to every other vehicle out there. So when i ever do see one, it's just polite & pretty cool to at least acknowledge eachother. It don't take no time or barely any effort to throw deuces, wave, or head nod, so what's the problem, it ain't like i'm doing it to every freaking car (far from it), just the few i see. I tell you what it is, certain people just don't care about stuff like that & it seems like those are the people buying the new (08+) models. They come off as ****** since every GC/GD seems to be friendly to eachother. Like i said before, i hardly get anything from GR's when i pass, & that's a fact. It ain't mandatory, just something we Subie owners just do, that's all. I already know that all super car owners are snobby, that's what money & status does to you. We ain't even close to that ****, so why mention it. Hell, i'll street race anything, just as long as i'll know i'll win-yeah baby! I'm chill, just trying to make a point based on my experiences so far, that's all. I always got mad Subie love yo, i wouldn't be driving one if i didn't. There wouldn't be this thread or meets or this web site for that matter if we all didn't, so don't defend that bull****, ungrateful mother****ers who don't like to socialize. You only live once, might as well be happy & friendly.
