Car Info: 2010 WRB wrx premium hatch
I just bought a 2010 WRB hatch from Autowest less then 2 weeks ago. I live in rocklin, but commute to Rancho every day, so if you see one, that's probably me. Thought i'd drop in and say hello.
Spotted the local wrb bugeye w/bigazz rack, flaps, nice wheels. Deuces exhanged w/the girlie driver.

yesterday, at 330 on i-80 going west passing weimar, a psm sti with flaps and a i club sticker passed me... had my new 37's in the truck, so no wave.
then i constantly see a black sti, with a cf hood and black bbs's parked at grocery outlet in auburn on 49. we've exchanged waves before, but have never met him...
then a wrb bugeye, with gold rims, and a hot girl drivin it in auburn...

i've been seeing a white 04-05 sti driving around (mostly on 49 near the river) with a black roof

Saw a white 04/05 STI driven by a girl on Fair Oaks Blvd heading towards the intersection with Sunrive Blvd (near where that Smog N' Go shop is) on 5/17/10. I was going in opposite direction in white 06 STI.
Another WRB 06/07 STI parked in some shop located along Fair Oaks, closer to where it intersects with Manzineta Ave.

Was with Semper checking out a car at AutoWest Subaru stealership in Roseville and a yellow bugeye w/ cf wing and body kit pulled up while we were there.
Btw... the sales manager there is a jerk. He tried to talk up this '00 4dr RS (with 127,000 mi. on the clock) like it was some rare find. :/ I asked him if the timing belt/water pump had been changed. He gave me attitude and his response was that his mechanics didn't find anything wrong with the car but he didn't know, and that "whatever it might need, they would've done it". I rolled my eyes and then asked him if they happened to catch the clutch shudder and the extremely loud and unmistakable knock that was present when the car was driven (just as you let out of the throttle it clacked like crazy!) I'm guessing at the very least it would need a valve job. Anyhow... they turned down a cash offer of $5k on the spot and we walked. They're hoping to pull the wool over someone's eyes and get at least $7k out of it.. :/ Anyhow, buyer beware if anyone on here was planning on checking it out.
**edit** So I checked with a couple of people and we determined it is more than likely rod knock.
I feel bad for the poor sucker they sell this car to.

yea i wasnt to impressed with them when i was looking for a subaru. i said i had at most 10,000 im 19 years old and looking for an impreza wagon and he was trying to sell me a legacy sedan that was 24,000 haha
