The car is really an Abarth copy. I have a few reproduction Abarth parts, intake manifold for big carb, header, front mount radiator, +1'd the wheels to 13" to clear the big disc brakes from an 850, etc. on it.

I do have a couple of real Abarth parts but they are too valuable to put on this one. I have another '59 in the garage waiting for a complete resto, I'm saving some parts for that one.

If you ever need an extra hand on a Sunday to help put the other one together, just PM me.

Thanks man. I am collecting parts but I have been putting off getting started, the car could be drivable with not too much work but I want to strip it down to the body shell and do a full job on it. I'm a bit slow on getting going on it because I know that once I start it will be a long project.

I grew up in Placerville, and my folks still live there (at least for another year or so). I'm in town every so often.
