spotted every suby in stockton/elkgrove on I-5 today... lowered wrb/silver tinted windows STi (drove next to me for a few seconds, passenger looked like you guys thought i was ricer? ), lowered white STi with one stock rim and some other black with polished rims (bad for your diffs man), silver bugeye around 7 am, some guy with FULL wrc graphics in a wrb STi with no exhaust(i've seen you alot actually),and like 4 more.... yes my car is an sti. i just have wrx sides w/ rear strakes ,jdm front lip and rear spats and took the wing off. take a look at the brakes next time .or maybe all my stock badges, or maybe the seats, or the hood scoop,or the wheels,or the steering wheel..... 
sorry just think it's funny people think i'm a WRX poser STi. i get that "take those fake badges off" look .... 
it was cool seeing so many subies today though.....
