There is no magic number for wwhen an engine craps out, even with the "dreaded" 2007 models.
Its a bunch of hype that some tuners like to use to drum up business; "You're driving a ticking time bomb...but I can fix it with a tune."

Was he a taller middle aged white guy salt and pepper hair? There used to be a guy who use to sell accident subies in this area, alot of them went to the Roseville shop to get looked at. His whole deal was "full disclosure" basically pointed out things wrong with the car and he had answers to all of them. Totally screwed a guy by saying the engine was replaced and even went to go as far as to having a letter saying the previous owner left the oil out. The victim later found out it was replaced because of a head on collision.

Which Roseville shop?
