But then there's the whole thing where if a corrupt government comes into control then they can use the system against law-abiding citizens. I'm law-abiding, but I'm not quite comfortable with that.

Every gov't is corrupt, it's just to what extent. I'm pretty paranoid but not too concerned with the U.S. gov't being so corrupt as to start controlling people through cameras. So many of the "jackass generation" don't realize how much affect they have on the way life will be. Just wait until 30-40 years down the road when the current CEO's, the president, congressmen, managers of every company have died and the "jackass gen. " has to fill those positions of power.

Maybe the bible thumpers are right. The world will be filled with sin and god will strike down the sinners with the four horsemen. Maybe that is the beginning of the apocalypse.
