Rollover On Sunrise

A little trip to Costco proved to be eventful today. We got off 50 onto Sunrise and there were a bunch of cops blocking traffic headed towards Costco at the Trade Center intersection. We got forced into the left turn lane so we tried to see if we could get to Costco that way (we wanted to go behind HomeDepot towards the right) so we deadended into that gas station and I got some pictures.

Heard on the radio it was a role over, I am 95% sure it was a Honda, either way it was rice (got a better view on the way home when it was on the trailer) There were about 5 ambulances out there, some down into the parking lot, so I think either someone got thrown or there was a second car that rolled down the bank into the parking lot.

This was the Trade Center and Sunrise intersection, EVERYONE else on sunrise is being forced to turn left or right and some dumb chick in a SUV thinks she can drive past the COP who is spanning three lanes with his car.

So he had to help her back up, after so kept protesting that she needed to go straight.

At this point he started to walk away from her car, I think he was hopping she wouldn’t look and back into the cars that were turning (I was hopping too)

Damn she made it

And a bonus pic for looking at this thread

It is at Watt Ave. and El Camino

There is also a 76 over there off of sunrise but they do not have 100 at the pump. There are a few other 76's in town that will sometimes have 100 but it is in 5 gal. jugs and tends to be more expensive.

A lot of the 76's are being re-done right now, so I hope that more will be putting in 100 at the pump, I got spoiled in Vegas where every 76's had 100 at the pump.

It looks like they are adding another tank (100 maybe) at the 76 on Greenback & Auburn-Folsom (site of our drive departures ).
