Here's my resume. It is a little unorthodox in layout, but has always done a good job of grabbing the attention of decision makers. I back it up by bringing a much more complete list of accomplishments to the interview.

It's designed in three layers. The top 1/3 hits keywords and phrases and is shaped to draw you down to the middle section where the accomplishments are. The bottom 1/3 is your traditional info in a more normal arrangement.

One of the keys in the accomplsihments section is to again hit keywords and make sure the accomplsihments are tangible. That's why you see dollar values in each one.

Remember, there are only two reasons a company is going to hire you:

1) You are going to make them money.
2) You are going to save them money.

If neither one of those applies to the position, you're just cannon fodder.

In the I.T. world our project managers are certified too...

PIMP - Professional Information Project Manager

Our department head is so won over on the whole project manager concept that we have 4 of them now to make work for the 2 or 3 techs we have... haha

That's like what we had in the Reno office 3 bodies and 8 heads. It sucks always more work than can be completed.

At least I'm making work for about 40 people right now.
