your probably right, there were a few other "upgrades" i noticed....rear disc brakes with 4 pots.. and 6 pots up front..the car was seriously EMACULATE, had to take pics

The 6-pot front calipers are upgrades, but the '65 396 Vette came with 4-wheel disc brakes with 4-pot calipers stock.
