Rally-Fighter spotted in Rocklin... pics included.

So I was leaving Harbor Freight in Rocklin today and this thing pulled out of one of the business complexes in front of me. He made the light at Stafford Ranch and I was left behind wondering what the hell I had just seen.

Specs | Local Motors Rally Fighter

Wasnt sure if anybody else has seen one before so I figured I would post it and find out.

Anybody know who's it is?

When I first caught sight of it from like 1/4 mile away and from the side it looked like a lifted BRZ haha.

I don't know...if I was spending $100K on a car, I think I could do better. I guess it fills a pretty specific niche though.

But it's impractical. Kinda like a huuuuge lifted truck with big nobby tires... That lives in downtown sacramento and doesn't camp.. Or travel anywhere off the pavement. Looks cool, though!

Very true. Although I think you will find that quite a few $100k+ cars are pretty impractical considering what they will be used for.

I got to drive one at the makers fair here in the bay area. If you are wondering what they can do there is a US top gear with one.

The biggest disappointment was finding out that the builder used Honda civic tail lights.. Out of all the options in the world? Really?

Jordan Stevenson, a Navy EOD Tech, owns this Rally Fighter. He was injured in Afghanistan so we switched the gas pedal to the left to accommodate his injury. Pretty sweet huh??
