No, it's a moderating tool. We're joking around with it, but it won't be heavily used in practice; the points expire, so it's basically a way to formalize the PM's or posts we sent before when telling someone to "knock it off", etc.

That version number has absolutely nothng to do with the forum version, it's the 3rd evolution of the site (was Alex's little site, then it was what NASIOC is now, now it's this for the last 4 years......)

Close. 1.0 is now Nasioc, 2.0 was "new" site here, 3.0 was massive vB upgrade and stuff a couple years ago.
