ok everyone i need some help on a decision
As most of you know I am moving to Spokane Washington in Feb. and I have been doing some research. I eventually want to have an impreza coupe or a 2.5rs doesnt really matter to me. I currently have my 97 obs mildly modded. I found out subarus are WAY cheaper in spokane. So this is where my dilemma comes into play. I was very big into offroading and rock crawlers for the past 7 years before i got my subaru. I have been planning on getting back into it. I use to have a 96 Land Rover Discovery I was going to build because it was relatively unique and i had built nothing but jeeps before. I want another Disco really really bad. They are not nearly as common or as cheap in washington. I was thinking about selling my OBS here and buying a Rover. Then buying another subaru once im in washinton. Please help me decide and no remarks on the Land Rover brand. I like them and let that be that.

I think it all comes down to the monetary offset of each vehicle...
If you sell your Subaru here for $8k let's say, and buy another one there for $6k that's a good deal... But you only save $2k. Are the rovers $2k more there?
Obviously my numbers are random... Just throwing it out there

no i definately here what your sayin. I actually started lookin at more disco's up there and i think i found a cheap batch coming through.... so im not too sure what i want to do anymore. There could be a good chance i hold on to my subaru now until after i move. save and just play the waiting game till i find the right land rover, buy it then sell my subaru and buy a 2.5rs. Only other problem is my subaru is worth less up there then it is here

See what you can get for the wagon first, if you can't get enough to get a rover or an RS i would hold on to the wagon for now. Unfortunately those minor cosmetic mods you did will probably make it harder to sell the wagon.

Or save your subaru and wait for a good deal either here or there for the crawler and then if need be do a 2+ person road trip down here later to buy said crawler... If that makes sense
