Depends on the oil, but generally if it doesn't have any impurities then it doesn't conduct electricity.

i've seen uber high voltage power supplies submerged in oil to prevent arcing, but a home pc is a bit retarded.

i run a pretty high end workstation all day long at work with the processor and memory pegged and never have any problems.

Oh c'mon Russ - what's good for a 12KV transformer must be good for a 500W home computer.

I looked at the site a little more. This guy is a *****. His optical drive and hard drive are outside of the tank.

On another note: this computer must be a beatch to work on... what an effing mess.
