i change my own oil, so i can't really recommend any specific place. but hell if you just want to hang out and do whatever, a bunch of us get together every now and then just to work on our cars. changing oil won't be any big thing.
that said, i know a lot of guys do go either to DBTuned, or just to the local Subaru dealerships for their oil changes.

i used to take my wrx to walmart in roseville. mobil 1 oil change was $19.99 because they didn't have a predetermined ammount for that oil in the system, so they always rang it up as regular mobil.
anyway, they did a decent job, never left a filter or drain plug loose.
i take my truck and my wife's suv to wherever is cheapest at the time.

Just be careful if you go to dbTuned...there's this one mechanic there that always tries to throw in a "happy ending" with all of his oil changes...

yeah Natomas meets still happen. but we don't usually show up until about 7:00-7:30 these days, and we don't always stay for very long. the last few weeks, all the subie guys have rolled out kinda early and hung out elsewhere.

Then why not just meet "elsewhere"?

well we never plan this ahead of time, we always meet up at the normal spot, hang around for a bit to see who shows up, and then decide if we want to stay there, or go somewhere else. it's always decided on the fly.
