officer energy charge.

just heard on the news yestarday that if you get pulled over and cited for anything the police officer or any officer will be adding on a energy charge for the gas they use to pull you over with.....is this true?
is this just in cali?
or just in sac county?
anyone heard of this?

i think it might be a flat fee.....like lets say a fix it ticket 10$.

That we still are increasing. The cop makes money for their jurisdiction and/or county right? So everything rides back to consumers... and apparently that means the cost of cops driving on the road and their gas. BOOOO, We get taxed every which way...
