A Neon faster than a SRT4

Drew (Dru18) and I got bored. Since Drew is currently driving a Dodge Neon rental car with his STi in repair, we decided if we could build a better car with aftermarket parts.

Sadly, at 40 mph, we lost 50% of our modifications. So much for r&d. Regardless, we're taking orders.

You kids are silly.
Obviously, no one's told you that beer carton cardboard gives +50whp than standard cardboard.

Well if you really wanted to make it faster than a SRT then you had to put stripes on it.

rental racing!

SCOTT! where's the pics of the civic Rental Type-ARRRRR????? (doubt they still exist)

in around 97~ish i had a Civic sedan rental car and we took it to the Wed night drags but stopped first by scotty's....

scott made up a boat load of decals; Rental Type-R, Rental Racing, "yes it's a rental", racing stripes, windshield banner, kangi's galore, etc...

i also unbolted the muffler and removed the stock airbox...

had a 17.7 et dial-in IIRC.
i made it to the last round in that thing....A/T owns bracked racing...

do you still have pics scott?
i just remember pulling up the lanes w/ A+ hangin out the window shouting at people and letting them know it was a rental...we had a fanclub by the end of that night.:rotfl:
