Angry Xt has faster 0-60 time than WRX

I was reading these magazine that has the forester xt article.I did not know (till now) that the XT goes 0-60 in 5.3 seconds and I think 13.8 in the 1/4 mile (that's just 4/10 sec slower than an STI)......Weird

Really? I forget which magazine, but I read a low 8 0-60 time for the XT.

I read it too... Car and Driver (0-60 5.3, etc...).

A detuned STI engine and taller gearing can do that...

makes that prodrive powerpak/Cobb stage 0/ etc look like a must have mod!

Just remember that the forester can't slow down or turn like a wrx though!

maybe you have those confussed or backwards in regard to the STi. think about how fast the Sti does a 0-60 run. then compensate for the De-tuned STi engine in the XT.

Wink

Don't worry STI owners...the Forester XT is fast...probably faster than the stock WRX..but definitely not as quick as the STI.....I've driven them all.....the Forester XT is surprisingly powerful!! Love that extra 2.5 torque!!

No, but I have my brake upgrades from my RS that will transfer over and I plan on tweaking the suspension to get it more neutral. I may take it out to the Auto-x once or twice for fun though.
