The legacy bearings weren't 5x114.

But seriously. The axles are the same. The rear knuckles are the same. The front knuckles are a little different. But the bearing section looks the same. I'd need different brakes or at least dual drilled brakes.

Really? I totally missed that, I definitely wasn't making the point that other platforms went unit bearing prior to 2008.

Other platforms having unit bearings is irrelevant to the point I was making.

I started with that thread. I'm not interested in changing the knuckle. I just want to change the bearings. It looks like the bearing mounting is the same on both knuckles. Would it be possible to mount STi bearings to WRX knuckles? The one guy on that thread who specifically says to change the knuckles, but not why, has a '10 WRX. I have '11 WRX which has a wider track and longer axles that are the same as the STi.

the reark knuckl bearing are the same for 08-14 wrx and sti
