New member from Sacramento - need recommendation for suspension work

Hey - I've been lurking a while. I'm in Elk Grove and looking for a shop to install some lowering springs on my Legacy. I usually go to an indie Subaru shop, but they want $400 and that seems pricey - at least from reading various posts. I don't have time to be a diy guy these days (work, kids, wife).

Anyone have a recommendation? Thanks!

If you can afford the time, I'd try to find someone on the forum to help you out. Drop it off at their place or have them come to yours and do it for a $100 or so and some beer. When I went to shop to get a quote, I was getting around $300-$400 for the job.

Try Paul at FW Motorsports. Also try Tire Pros in Folsom. Ask for Justin tell him Will sent you. Dont let the name fool you, Tire Pros does amazing work in all categories. They even worked on my Lotus Exige S.

Thanks for the leads! I thought it was too much. Hopefully see you guys around sometime - probably already have. My sales territory is most of the metro area - seen some B*tchin' subies.

Springs is easy. We did mine in my buddies driveway in about 30 minutes. $100 bucks is totally reasonable if your paying someone from the boards.
