Hello everyone, was recently looking for a local subaru club and came across this site from nasioc. I have a 2012 hatch base wrx, purchased last November. Purchased some mods the last few months as these cars are impossible to keep stock. I had the car tuned recently and it put down 265.4 HP and 287.1 ft lbs. Mods include
AEM cold air intake
COBB accessport
Perrin Downpipe
Hallman Pro RX manual boost controller
Custom stage 2 pro tune
STI 5 speed short throw shifter
STI shift ****
STI exhaust tips finishers powder coated
Rally Armor V2 flaps
Yellow foglight overlays
Subtle Solutions license plate delete
OEM crossbars and bike racks with INNO medium fairin
And pics

Looking forward to meeting others and doing a few auto-x events. Cheers

welcome!
I have a couple of questions regarding your mods.
1. Did the fairing help with wind noise? I know the updated cross bars are "aero" and less noisy, but did you actully notice a difference in adding the fairing?
2. How is your accessport mounted?

1. I bought the fairing originally because my snowboard racks would whistle loudly and I thought that the fairing would cut down on the noise. However, I got injured soon thereafter and didn't have a chance to see if it reduced the noise with snowboards attached. I haven't had a chance to try the bike racks without the fairing, but when i take the entire rack off ( for longer drives to bay area) I can't tell any difference, so I think that it may be a wash. Some people on nasioc forum actually felt that the fairing created more noise, but overall, I really like it. It's just a PITA to keep clean from bugs
2. AP is installed using the bracketron adapter i bought from amazon. really good for only 5 bucks
