need notebook memory, plz help. kthx
i need to upgrade the crapola out of my notebook memory. mr. sky92x recommended crucial technologies because they can scan my computer and tell me what I need. it says i need "200-pin SODIMM DDR PC3200" and I only have 2 slots, both have 256mb chips.
can I just buy something that meets this from outpost or amazon? crucial is kind of spendy if i want to hit the 2g mark.
amazon has a matched set of corsair 1g sticks optimized for gaming and graphics for about $200. i have 128mb shared graphics on this rig, will a upgrade to 2gig be a huge improvement?
my application is very much memory intensive, somewhat graphics intensive, and not so much processor.

I would go with the Amazon deal. There is a satisfaction guarantee from Amazon right ?
