that bug eye is pretty cool, but honestly isn't much to write home about. it's not a bad thing though, so don't go thinking that. it's just not really any more special (IMHO anyway) than any number of cars here on the boards.

that eclipse though....stock motor 420A4? i do like the NES built into the car, that's something i haven't seen before. the black widow kit looks okay on that car, but i always liked that kit more on boxier cars (personally, i always like the Blitz kit on the 2G eclipses). the paint job looks pretty sweet though, it's definitely a clean car. hopefully he's got some motor mods planned.

it's a good effort man, don't think i'm puttin you down. these cars just seem more like "reader's rides" material to me than front cover material, that's all. a good shoot would be the dudes with the white RSX and the white tC that were at that first meet in Natomas, they had really nice cars.

Its not about how much mods/money u got. And yeah it is readers rides. Just normal every day tuners that work 9-5, some may have/done more than others. But i do not belive that does not make it special. Maybey they have done all they wanted to, or maybe its work in progress.

The theme is "stock to rock", and thats what i will try to emphasize one, not only what u got, but how do you got there. Blood, sweat, tears, extra hours @ work to make that cheddar etc

As for the cars @ the last meet, they and others are interested, and thats in the works. Those people on the site, i asked or came to me. And im not going to say no.

The impreza may not look like much, but he put alot of work into the tuning and build up of that motor. So i dont know why ud knock it when ur doing the same thing ; )

The cars are what they are, so to say "good effort" seems kind of weak. I did not tune/build them, i just agreed to put them on the site. I can understand if the rides are not your cup of tea, everyones got different taste. But dont put that on me.

But i know u dont mean much by your reply thats the way you are. We always dissagree : ) your too much of a critical thinker for me.

look man, when i say good effort, i'm not talking about the cars, i'm talking about your site. getting those cars for the shoot, the pics you took, the angles, the lighting, even the writing was really good. the cars are nothing special, but that's not what i was talking about, i was talking about the whole package. i wasn't putting **** on you, i was saying that those cars are not front page material, which you admit to. no harm, no foul. all i said to you was what i thought, which is what you asked for. did i actually say that you built some ****ty cars and then posted them on your website? no i didn't. you should know me better than that by now, i'm not going to waste my time with innuendo. if i think something is ****, i'm just going to say that it is.

and besides, what's the need for such a long and defensive response? you asked for people to reply constructively, and you got it. i never said i didn't like your site, and i didn't say that the cars are bad. all i said was the cars aren't anything spectacular, and the truth is that they aren't. if you want to hear me, or anyone else say "DUDE! sweet *** cars!!!!", then you need to go find some and do a shoot with them. as it is, what i gave you is the best response you're going to get, because that's all that those cars warranted from me. again, i'm not saying that they're bad cars. i think they're pretty cool, i'm just not going to drool over them.

i'm not saying it's your fault that those cars don't incite the kind of a reaction from me, or anyone else, that it sound like you're wanting, and i would never think that. i know you want people to like what you're doing with your site, and you've got my full support. but i'm also not going to BS with you, expecially when you ask for constructive criticism. you just need to remember that if you ask for constructive criticism, you are going to get it. if you don't want it, or if you can't handle hearing it, then you shouldn't ask for it, and if that's the case then you probably shouldn't mention your site here ever again.

It's always nice to see a bugeye that's not wrapped around a tree.

I like the article and your way of looking at the cars, wanting to see everyday rides versus the sponsored to all hell show cars. With 330hp and 300lbft of Torque I'd like to know if he's had tranny issues.

Because it sounds like he's at the limit for the OEM box.

lol Thanx dude.

As for the tranny he is @ the limit, thats the last thing he mentioned, when we were talking. But he does not drive hard, so he said he would not worry about it.
