theyre shipping either this friday or next friday, so i've heard

 

i was hoping that my old ap was done and that they would just give me a v2

 

yeah, they said first or second week of december, so next friday would be the latest they could ship it without sneakily changing the release date without any announcement again

 

ugh so they could replicate the noise. I'm going to just leave it with them until the noise comes back.

 

what kinda sound is it making? my dealership told me the same, even tho it was a blatant loud crunchy tappy sound coming from the front of the motor

 

It's more like a hard tap tap tap, the sound of a rod hitting the case.


But the problem is, that it sometimes comes and goes. They said it may be the timing belt because of the randomness. I dunno. I am teh n00b to cars.

 

mine makes a really light tap noise on the driver's side of the engine.

 

actually more of a ticking noise.

 

mine sounds like a hard knocking noise.

 

ticking noises are normal on the pancakes engines aren't they?

 

sounds exactly like what i have, make sure that by your timing belt tensioner failing, it didnt bork something inside your motor IE in you valvetrain...mine comes and goes, different sounds at different rpms, but smoothens out above 4000, or maybe i cant hear it anymore due to surrounding noise, but its an obnoxious tap, just like the regular valvetrain noise/tap our motors normally make, but like 20x louder ...has it affected drivability? none whatsoever here, just an annoying noise but drives perfect as ever

ticking can be lifter noise, injectors, and basically many different valve train noises... then again sometimes it can be a serious problem

 

does anyone know if the hella fog lights come with bulbs?

 

I hella don't know if the hella fog lights come with hella bulbs or not, but I would imagine that they hella do come with bulbs because that would be hella lame if they didn't
