I was reading up on the Cobb AccessTuner and it sounds like I could justify the purchase because it's also an anti-theft device. I guess there's a map that turns off the fuel injectors so the car won't even start, does this really work, or is there still a way around it?

There are two maps. They just set the rev limiter really low (below idle).
I use it when I leave the car somewhere strange for a long time. But I wouldn't justify it's puchase just for this. It's just a bonus.

If you do do this it's a good idea to make the anti-theft map your base so when your battery gets pulled you revert to the anti-theft.

1. Find a friend with a flatbed truck
2. Find car you want
3. Break window
4. Put the car in neutral with the ebrake off.
5. Roll it up on a flatbed.
6. Off to the chop shop

exta points:

7. Post on i-club about parting out your car.

Hey, he was just asking how to get around the cobb crap.

If you had an alarm, then things would be different. Once the glass breaks, the alarm would go off and the robbers would run away.

Plus even if they did steal it, it's bound to grab someone's attention.

Alarm good
Cobb bad.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of this, sounds like a good idea. I just have to make sure the AccessTuner is handy if I ever change my battery...

I have the stock alarm/keyless entry.

Has anyone seen the "hotchick" that works at Del Taco on Arden and Howe? My friend won't shutup about her.
