I can't wait to get an Xbox 360 to be able to play video on my TV (hopefully version 2 will be out by the time I actually buy one) .

the xbox 306 v2 (aka Zephyr) is gona be badass. 65nm chip, 120gb hd + HD-DVD drive built in, that with HDMI out and 10/100/1000 and thats a PS3 killer.

its also supposed to be the same price as the current units, they will get their prices slashed below current Wii prices.

all this is supposed to happen in Q3 this year or sometime after

Is it gonna process the HD-DVDs in hardware or software? I hear that the current setup the HD-DVD is the most intesnse thing the XBOX has to do.
HDMI should have been out on the current setup. Good to know that on intermediate upgrade is in the works. Just hope it doens't affect the software. The advantage of a console over a PC is that the hardware is consitant. I guess the PS2 had a change halfway through it's life though too when it went to hte 'slim' form factor.
