Molded and painted MINES replica trunk lip vol.1 and vol.2

Few weeks ago me and my friend finished molding Mines lip to his wingless trunk. Here are results after painting:

Then I decided to make a spare trunk for my car.
Picked up a damaged STI strunk from Hatebreed and Mines replica lip.
Had to close all 18 holes including key hole and pull that dent out

Interested in checking out the white one mounted - never got around to doing it on mine and always kicked myself, but never had the skills to do it. The second looks great - my goal is ditching the lower edge on the trunk entirely. Interested in doing a v3?

Nice. I'm entirely serious - my wingless trunk has a so-so paint job and the work I've seen you do looks great, so if you want to bust another one out I'm game.

This is going to look SO much better than the STi trunk. Everyone and their mother rocks the STi wing, its so played out and old. This is so clean and fresh.
Can't wait to see finished product on your car.

i would suggest trimming down the lip before molding it, otherwise it doesn't have a real molded feel.

(friend's car, not mine)

Exactly - that guy's down south, right? SD?
i want that kind of integration, but rarely see it done to that extent.

I want that trunk, lol.

ya he's in sd, he trimmed the lip so it fit better. look at the edges, they're pretty thin. we were molding our trunks at the same time, but he GOT the last mines at the time so i just went limited.
