I'm dome with molding but decided to get rid of that lower edge. How did you guys fill that empty space? Bondo hair? Fiberglass and foam?..just don't wanna put 1/2 inch of Bondo....

It's not filling that gap, it's cutting the lip so it doesn't have as much of a side profile on the edges - moving the whole thing in about 1/4-3/8" depending on which rep it is. Idea is that the whole underside of the lip goes away for the most part, so you're just molding in the part that sticks out.

Jordan, if he ever decides to flip that trunk......LMK, lol.

thumbs up on the trunk lip molding... turned out amazing

thumbs down on the front end of the white car... cheapens and makes the front end of a wonderful 04/05 front look extremely plastic like on the audis and mitsus

Top profile looks perfect. Looks like you cleaned up the lower edge a little bit too. Should look really nice with paint.

Is your car actually aspen white, or another shade?

It's a Scion tC Super White
I'm actually not done with the lower edge yet. Put trunk on my car to see how it's gonna look like. Probably I'm gonna drive around for few days and then do a final touch.

Got busy at work, not so much time for my trunk.
Anyways, decided to get rid of that lower edge by attaching sheet of aluminium
