Might be going green

With fuel that is, not the party.

Been talking to my boss about this for awhile and he finally decided on running used fry oil in a diesel. He bought an old Mercedes for like $800 last week and is in the process of adding the conversion kit for like $600. It's a good marketing gimmick too for fine dining restaurants. I tried to convince past bosses/chefs of offering composting classes but this one is better IMHO.

I mean ****... I have access to about 4-6 gallons of used fry oil everyday. Problem is I have a WRX holding me back and the fact I know little about reliable diesel cars. Which cars, if any, should I be looking at if I wanted to do something like this? Murdered-out pinto perhaps? Seriously, though... help me out. If you wanted to do this which car would you be shopping for.

or you can do a propane/cng conversion on a regular car

Eric, is this through Beach Hut?

If so, you'll probably want to stick with the VW theme.

The Beach Hut down the street from my house has a VW bus and a VW bug w/ a pickup bed all done up in the Beach Hut colors, logos, and theme. You can write it off as a business expense.

Oh, and my sister tried this a few years ago...

How did it go you ask? Would you like to buy it? It's already been converted.
