so who knows a lot about CA labor laws?
I know if you work 7 consecutive days you get 1.5x your rate of pay for the first 8 hours, and 2x after that.
However, it said that if you work more than 6 days in work week, the 7th is the overtime one. But does that mean that if your work week is Monday-Sunday, that if you work Wed-Tuesday, that Tuesday wouldn't be overtime because it spans across two work weeks?

Cause if you are, guess what you are exempt from. That's right kids, you're exempt from labor laws.

Okay then,
I believe it is consecutive days, no matter when the week ends/starts.
But,

EDIT: it was a website linked on that website you posted, still a .gov site: http://www.workitout.ca.gov/default.asp?id=137
Eight hours of labor constitutes a days work, and employment beyond eight hours in any workday or more than six days in any workweek is permissible provided the employee is compensated for the overtime.

An employee’s workweek may be changed only if the change is intended to be permanent and is not designed to evade the employer’s overtime obligation.

haha, no, I'm still confused. It seems like if you're workweek is Monday through Sunday, then if you work say, Wednesday through Tuesday, you wouldn't get overtime because even though you've worked 7 consecutive days, if fell over two different workweeks...which seems like BS to me
