I believe it is consecutive days, no matter when the week ends/starts.

yeah but you can also exempt yourself from staying for a full 8 hour day.

haha, no, I'm still confused. It seems like if you're workweek is Monday through Sunday, then if you work say, Wednesday through Tuesday, you wouldn't get overtime because even though you've worked 7 consecutive days, if fell over two different workweeks...which seems like BS to me
