Car Info: A limousine with a chauffer
Since I am trying not to modify my wagon too much (I'm trying to get to 10,000 miles before doing any engine stuff
), I decided to start focusing on the RS a little. I've been needing to do this anyway.
Just the other day, I happened on a sweet deal for an Injen Cold Air Intake. I had an Injen Cold Air on my s14 and always really liked it. The quality of the intake was top notch and fitment was perfect. In addition, it's C.A.R.B legal
.
On Thursday night I picked up the car from Joseys work telling her I was going to "wash it". Got it home and Aaron and I did the install, and yes, I helped quite a bit. Aaron set the intake pretty high up in the fender so in order to hydrolock the car it would be totaled anyway due to how high the water would have to be. The intake definitely pepped up the car - you can really feel the power in the mid range. It also gave the RS a nice sound.
next up: hopefully suspension. I'm thinking of doing ground controls on stock WRX struts for now, upgrading to something a little nicer further down the road.
edit: Thanks to S-Squared for the hookup!
