I always have my camaro's driving lights/fog lights/blind old people lights/ on whenever the headlights are on, sometimes even when they are off I'll turn them on. They shoot alot wider of a beam and can get the sides of the road better then just regular headlights.

My car has selective yellow lamps utilizing a fog beam.

I hate when tards think all aux lights are fog lights. Nobody seams to understand the difference in beams.

a fog beam can be either focused or flood, but what you will see is a hard horizontal cutoff pattern and only illuminate under that cuttoff

Both colors can be used for fog. Selective yellow (white light with the blue taken out not that crap yellow only that you get with cheap bulbs or yellow film) scatters less because there is no blue light in it. This is better for really bad weather. But white is still fine.

Fog beam is cut low and spread wide.
Driving is like a high beam. Focused towards the center and meant to light up things far away.

Pencil beam is an extreme version of driving.
