I used to work with this guy who would go on and on about memory core (megneticly switched mechanical memory for mainframes).

He interviewed this kid and wanted to hire him. His boss didn't think he would be smart enough. The kid ended up making Pole Position. (ya, that guy)

He had many stories about everything we use today (he worked with BofA to test some of the first ATMs) but he just wouldn't shut up.
