I think I'm going to go with the Canon sx110 is.
Specs look like my current camera (Canon S1-IS), but smaller dimensions (and 1/3 shallower will be nice) and upgraded CCD, image processor, image stabilization, etc. And comes in right at my budget.

My sister just sent me some photos from a pro-am photographer that just got back from Nepal and didn't feel like dragging along his DSLR, and took that one instead. Granted, he's probably wringing the **** outta that little guy (compared to what I can do) but otherwise, it looks like a killer pns.

yesterday when i was coming home all the snow was starting to melt... supposed to heat up a bit till i think Wed or Thurs... had a few friends go boarding at Alpine today and they said the snow was a tad bit slushie but nice!
