External wastegate is way overkill. Porting the wastegate will work fine, and if that's not solution enough for you, a whole new turbo is not really mroe epensive than EWG when all is said and done.

I don't even wanna say how fast I got from Sacramento to Arizona... I definately wouldn't have a liscense right now if I got caught at some speeds. I started the drive at 12am, I was there by 9am stopping a lot! I think it's quoted at a 11 1/2 hour drive?

You get alot better response with an EWG. I absolutely love my EWG for several factors, one it makes the car sound viscious. Two gives it better response. Three, I can scare the living **** outa people walking by getting on it near them

if you are going to go to New York.. go to New York.

if you want to go external, don' half *** it and go with the huge turbo that actually needs it.. and all the other fun stuff that comes along for the ride

Oh yea, when I was stationed at Fort Lewis, WA, I'd make it home to Santa Rosa in 10 hrs.
