Issues with Coilovers and Cusco Rear Camber Plates

Hey guys,

Need some help. I have a set of Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers and they didnt come with rear camber plates since they are backordered like 4 weeks. Instead of waiting i decided to buy Cusco rear camber plates but i am having some issues with them fitting. The 4 adjustment screws for the camber plates are resting on the top of the springs. How do i fix this? I can just run thicker washer on top to raise the 4 camber adjuster bolts? Is there some kind of spacer i need? Did the company send me the wrong part?

Thanks for the help.

You are missing a perch. That does not look right at all. Your camber plate can not pivot at all.

this. it isnt assembled right. there should be a cone-looking piece as well so it can pivot and move. If you install it like that your car will handle and ride like complete ****

GREAT NEWS! Decided to contact Fortune Auto 500 directly for assistance. I literally emailed them about 2 hours ago and i already have an answer. I emailed them, they emailed with two simple questions, i gave them the answers, they sent me a definite answer and offered to send the necessary parts.

I indeed needed different top perches. Ones that are designed to be used with rear camber plates. They offered to send them to me free of charge, and they aren't even for their camber plates yet still offered them for free. What an awesome company!

Camber Plates for TEIN Flex CO's

Hey...I am having a challenge finding camber plates for my rear TEIN Flex CO's. It is my understanding that TEIN's Flex CO's come with pillowball mounts and without pillowball mounts in the rear. MINE HAVE NO PILLOWBALL mounts and TEIN could not provide me with a definitive answer as to how to add camber adjustment in the rear. Have any you guys installed camber plates on your TEIN Flex CO's? If so, please let me the what you did and which plates you have installed. Right now the only solution I have been able to find is using camber bolts, which I think is kind of hokey. Please let me know what you did to get camber plates on your CO's, I will be very grateful as I have been searching far and wide for a viable high performance solution. If it can't be done...do you know anyone who wants to buy a set of TEIN Flexs' at a good price? Thanks! -RT
