Actually I only pulled the engine out of my RS 3 times
I do have to do some work on the car.....I have the rear springs that I need to change, and a oil catch can to plumb in.
I have to wait on the turbo.....Oh so I want one though (NEED MORE BOOST !!!)
But mainly I like Installfests and getting together and working on cars.
As for my wagon..................I havent told anyone on the club yet but it was totalled a couple months ago. A stupid ***** pulled right in front of me and I T-boned her at 40-50mph. She was completely at fault.....It in my lawyers hands right now, but the car was totaled
Engines fubared, tranny is locked in 5th, and the front is now a whole foot shorter. (And yes I am still going to rehab)
Cheers

Thanks All.
Lucky for my wife and myself we both were able to walk away from the accident in mostly one piece.....though my neck and back are surely tweaked. I'm amazed that I didn't break anything as I bent my steering wheel forward in the instantaneous stop, my face didn't even hit the airbag :P
But thats over, I'm looking forward to this day, and many others to come.
SOOOOOO......who has what to install, I kind of like to plan it so that if there is possible problems with anyone's install (i.e. broken hardward and such) there can be a run to the parts/auto store. Don't want to have anyone stranded at my house.
Plus I can figure who gets to use the garage.
Also, what kind of food do you guys (and in some cases gals) would like to see cooking. Be reasonable.......if you want something out of the ordinary, of course you can BYO. I would like to make this a great Summer start.
Cheers

Heh, recent developments mean I actually have plenty of work to do. Good stuff for others to see how to do for future reference.
Front endlinks, steering rack bushings, complete front brakes, and removing rear subframe lock bolts.

benami,
Crank Pullies are EASY. I have a very large breaker bar that will make short work getting that swapped. Shouldn't take more then what? 3-5 Minutes to complete. Make sure you have new belts if it is a underdrive unit.
Cheers

Lets go ahead and start a head count of who think they may show up....even those who just plan to just hang. If you plan on doing any mods, let me know so that we can plan it so that your stuff gets done in the time we have.
