Ill count this as my introduction thread. Came over from NASOIC to hopefully get some more views thats why i have no posts here. I picked up my 02 wrx back in July right before I found out I had to start chemotherapy. After I bought it the first thing I wanted to do was make sure it would stay reliable so I ordered a bunch of parts to do some maintenance. I have always hated the idea of paying a shop to do work for me that I could probably do myself, so I wanted to do it myself. Unfortunately I have no experience in most the maintenance I need to do due to the fact I’m still new to Subaru’s (came from 240s) and no tools for the stuff I can do. However I REALLY want to learn how to do all the required work myself for the future. So I was hoping I could get someone who’s experienced and willing to help out with an install day. But like I said I have a VERY limited selection of tools so I would also most likely have to do it elsewhere where someone has the required tools. Another issue is due to my medical issues and still trying to sort those out I haven’t been working so I don’t have a whole lot of money to offer up. I know it’s a slim chance but I was hoping to find a person to help with an install day. The parts/maintenance I have to do are:

Complete timing belt kit/timing belt
Water pump
Thermostat
AC tension pulley
Other accessory drive belts
Group N motor mounts/Tranny mounts/Pitch stop
Kartboy front and rear shifter bushings

So if there’s anyone in the Sacramento area (also possibly willing to travel to the bay area for some help) let me know it’s greatly appreciated and we can try to work out a deal.

P.S. Also I have been trying to sell my snowboard from this season (Ride agenda 159 w/ Burton freestyle bindings) and I would be more than willing to include that for your help if you’re interested. Please PM with any questions or if you think you can help me out. Thanks again.

slamin you have PM! thanks for response. Jourdan i would love to go but it seems like everyone is planning on doing a lot less work than what im asking. Haha. Dont wanna be a burden ya know?
