Btw, in the VW world a pull wasn't a worthwhile upgrade. The SS power package sticky lists them as an included item.. Is it worth getting?

They can make a little bit of difference, more in feel than HP. It's like a lightened flywheel, you're allowing the motor to rev just a hair faster.

it's only loud when you start to boost.

I've head DPT's and James cars.
Both quiet until they build boost. then hehehehe..

Wonder if it will make 1st gear traffic mode a little smoother

Most likely not, lightweight mods make the car more touchy at low speeds.

We generally don't put them on unless people specifically request them; we had a couple of people requesting staged kits so we threw that up, but we prefer to do an individual customer-based upgrade path rooted in your needs and preferences, especially with stuff like exhausts, etc.
