SCC used to be good for things like that when I cared about Hondas.
as far as exhaust goes, anything that's not a flat flange downpipe will be an improvement. the muffler section is somewhat common sense. if it looks like a big fartcan with a 4" tip, odds are it's going to be loud. the twin tips (stromung, borla, vishnu, NOT perrin) seem to be quieter.

for engine management, it comes down to what you're willing to compromise on. the accessport is extremely convenient. you can flash any map you want as your mods progress. the downside is that the maps are very generic and are designed to be safe on any car of that mod level. the ecutek reflash can be tailored to your car and fine tuned on the dyno. nate (local source for reflashes) is very good at what he does, so your car will be nice and safe still. you do not need anything other than your ecu reflashed. the downside is that when you need a new map, you have to go to the shop again and probably go on the dyno again. the price is much cheaper for subsequent tuning because you're not paying for the license.

I just bought a 4" fart can for the STI. Hopefully I'll get it installed next week with the re-flash!

I suggest kidneys, that whole "dual" system smacks of over-engineering.

I've already proposed that one, too but the wife veto'd. I mentioned her working, and I got slapped.
