Keep in mind though, I had 3/4 a tank of 91 octane to begin with, so the 100 octane gas I put in is only going to bring the overall average up to somewhere around 93. It's not like I'm expecting crazy mad powAr or anything, I'm just tired of loosing power because my TMIC gets heat-soaked while sitting in traffic, and causes ping on acceleration at anything above 3/4 throttle.
If you're looking to actually gain a little power by using race gas, you would probably need a 50/50 mix of what you usually put in versus race gas. At $6.99 a gallon though, race gas get expensive quickly.
The funny thing is that while most gas prices have gone up about 30 cents since a month ago, the price of 100 octane at that particular station has stayed the same.
