Ugh. I'm not going in to work today.

I ran out of primer last night for the closet and I figure I'll just finish this morning and then paint it this afternoon.

I did the calculations on painting the inside of the garage myself and it's 15 gallons of primer and 12 gallons of paint. That's about $450-500 in materials. My exterior painter said he would paint it for $800. I think I'll pay the $300 extra just to save myself the hassle. Painting sucks - I don't know how anyone could do this for a living.

Anyway, good mroning SRiC.

There are other latex alternatives. polyurethane or nitrile.

I've tried them and they feel like having secks in a grocery bag... but hey, it's still secks, right?

I was gonna say that this is a really slow daily thread, and then I realized that it was only 8:15a. I've been at work for over four hours

sucks. I on the other hand have been at work for an hour and in 30 minutes I will be in mindless-fall-asleep-in-the-back-of-the-room meetings for the rest of the day.
