I'd love to talk more, but these one-armed-bandit posts take forever. That, and I gotta get ready for work.

I can't post from work today because my co-worker is being a complete douchebag and won't help take-up ANY slack while I have my arm in a sling. Apparently this guy's really butt-hurt over the fact that the boss put me in charge of the parts dept while he's away.

Man that sucks. And yes your co-worker is being a big woman over you being in charge apparently. It reminds me of my 2 friends that worked at chrysler down the street from you. One of them is a mechanic down there and had been there for almost 2yrs and my other friend was there as a detailer then became a service writer(only because he was only competant person there in the shop area lol.) My service writer friend had been there maybe less than a year and he worked the saturdays and his service manager left him in charge as acting manager on saturdays, keep in mind he's 18-19 years old but very responsible and hates normal teenager stuff lol (old man trapped in a kid's body.) Well my mechanic friend would be seriously pissed off when someone mentioned that the service writer was the mechanic's boss on saturdays and HAD to listen to him. The service manager even said my service writer friend was acting manager on saturdays. Needless to say but my mechanic friend would get very very butt hurt and would totally disregard anything my service writer friend would tell him to do just because he was a year or two younger and had been there less than a year lol. I never saw what the big deal was since my service writer friend wasn't a d1ck and never abused his power lol.

BTW - I really hate doing ab work...I did 45 hanging leg raises and then 45 crunches a little after that and it really really hurts to sneeze

I put my PTO in for thursday like the beginning of the month because I knew everyone would try to put their stuff in right away. I should have taken tuesday off as well but I decided not to since I'd save my PTO for summer vacation

I wasn't planning on taking vacation...but we have 3 floating holidays that don't roll over into next year that I want to make use of so I don't lose them. I love how they reward dedicated employees by not allowing floating holidays to roll over into next year.

If it makes you feel any better the military only lets you keep 30 days of leave on the books and anything over that gets isht canned at the end of the fiscal year. I had 60 some odd days at the end of the fiscal year so now I'm back down to 30

Howcome you didn't take your leave or did you not know of the amount of time you had on the books? I hate that since some companies don't let it roll over. When I work for a place like that I just take a few days off before and after a holiday around this season since there's hella holidays and my bday

Lucky bastid.

I have snow tires on them on too. haha

I still haven't decided what i want to use for summer though. I just have to get it approved with the person who drives the wagon. She's very picky!
